OMG WHERE TO BEGIN. Â I loved this day so much.
I guess I’ll start by telling you how it began for Zach and me. Â We made it to the location, just outside Helen, GA with no problems at all and we parked in the designated parking area. Â First I’ll tell you that the property where the wedding was held is over 200 acres in the mountains. Â There is a main road from the parking lot going to the top of the mountain and there was a sign and number for the shuttle. Â Not wanting to be a bother since we were many hours early before the shuttle would start running, we decided we’d walk to the top. Â It couldn’t be far, right? ….mmm wrong. Â I think it was probably a quarter of a mile at LEASTÂ and this gravel road was at like a 45 degree angel!!!! Â You can only take 4 wheel drive cars to the top because it’s so steep. Â By the time we got to the top, I am not exaggerating when I say sweat was POURING out of every pore of Zach’s face. Â It was like a waterfall.. quite impressive actually. Â The best part? Â WE WERE IN THE WRONG PLACE. Â The venue was to the right of the parking lot… LOL. Â Thankfully the sweet lady that owns the property drove us down and we laughed about it later with Whitney and Hobbie. Â Speaking of which…
These two are so awesome.  They are so laid back and love to have a good time, and their friends mean the world to them.  It was fun to watch as they interacted with each other, they’re all so close!  The details of this wedding were exquisite.  The fabric of her DRESS!  I wish y’all could feel it.  Absolutely incredible.  Her shoes: stunning. It’s actually my favorite shoe shot I’ve ever taken.  And the florals were so beautiful!!!  I can’t wait for y’all to scroll down and see.  The property was so beautiful and my FAVORITE part of the day was when we scooted away after a bit of dancing (actually a LOT of dancing!) to the top of the mountain.  (Where Zach and I had walked at the beginning of the day haha!)  The sun was setting and the grounds were rich with flowers and greenery, and a spring-fed pool looking out to Yonah Mountain in the background.  (Whit and Hobb had just hiked Yonah a week earlier!)  It was a perfect setting for a couple who love the outdoors and specifically the beautiful mountains of North Georgia.
Whitney and Hobbie: Â Thank you for trusting Zach and I to capture your wedding day. Â It was such a joy for us to be a part of! We are so thankful to have been able to document these memories you will cherish and pass down for generations. Â Thank you to your friends and family who treated us so kindly and who are so filled with love! Â We hope you’re having the most amazing time on your honeymoon in Cancun and we hope you can view these images while you’re away together. Â Cheers! Â We love you!!!
